Every Sunday evening on the beach in Treasure Island the sounds of 'sacred instruments' float over the beach of Treasure Island. Ok, so maybe they kind of thump over the beach.

Welcome to the world famous

Treasure Island Drum Circle

.

People of all walks of life, converge on Treasure Island beach, each Sunday evening to form a 'sacred circle'... and beat drums. Dancing, hula hooping, and, of course, sunset watching are a part of the sacred experience. This ongoing weekly drum circle, or sacred circle of sound, is open to all. Everyone is welcome whether you make music, dance, hula hoop, or just listen.

People come with Drums, Tibetan Chimes & Singing Bowls, Quartz Crystal Singing Bowls, Shakers, and Rattles. But you don't have to beat anything to enjoy the experience. Bring your kids, bring your grandparents, just make sure there is normal responsible parental supervision.

I will be taking sunset photos at and around the drum circle on most Sundays. If you are in attendance look for your photo here or in the gallery the following week. If you have a nice sunset photo from the drum circle... send it in.
